Freshman goalkeeper Alison Marlow (Fountain Valley High) of the William Jessup University (Rocklin, Calif.) women’s soccer team was named to the National Soccer Coaches Assn. of America (NSCAA) All-Southwest Region Second Team.

Marlow, who also was named to the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) All-Conference Team, had 49 saves and recorded six shutouts in her inaugural season, a record for most shutouts in a single season by a Warriors goalkeeper.

Marlow was one of only two freshmen voted to the All-Region team. Other region selections came from schools throughout California, Texas and Oklahoma.
