Join staff writer Mike Bresnahan for a discussion about the Lakers season, all the highs and the lows, at noon today.

It was an interesting season for the Lakers, to say the least. They traded Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol for Chris Paul, only to have NBA Commissioner David Stern veto the deal. Imagine how different the season would have been if that trade had gone through?

Also this season, the Lakers eventually sent Odom to the Dallas Mavericks, where he imploded and was eventually released. Longtime fan favorite Derek Fisher was traded. Andrew Bynum was dominant or an enigma.

The season ended with a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals.

What will next season bring? Will Gasol be traded? What about Bynum? And how much gas does Kobe Bryant have left in his tank? Ask Mike Bresnahan, he’ll tell you.
