One day in the not-too-distant future, the Lakers will retire Kobe Bryant's number. Or should we say numbers?
Bryant wore two numbers in his career, 8 and 24, and GM Mitch Kupchak wasn't too sure which one would be chosen for the honor.
"I don't know the answer. Obviously it's going to be 8, 24, or it could be both," he said at a season ticket holder event Sunday.
Bryant played the first half of his career with No. 8, winning three NBA titles. He wore 24 for the Lakers' most recent two titles.
Which number would you pick to retire if you were running the Lakers? Vote in our poll and let us know.
