Since the 1960s, the Andretti family has been a fixture at the Indianapolis 500 every May. Patriarch Mario Andretti won the 1969 Indianapolis 500, while his son Michael (now a team owner) and grandson Marco have run well at the Brickyard. In addition, Mario’s son Jeff Andretti has raced at Indy, as has Mario’s nephew John Andretti.
