Twicer app helps travelers add voice-over to vacation videos
Here’s an app that lets you add your voice to your travel videos before you share them with friends and family.
Name: Twicer
Available: iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Requires iOS 7.1 or later.
Cost: Free
What it does: Lets you record video or import existing video and add commentary.
What’s hot: Sharing videos with friends and family can be boring, but with this app you can add depth and context to the video before sharing on it on Twitter, Facebook, Twicer, by text, email or your own blog. If you want to see a good sample before you make your own, look at the great series of travel Twicer videos from “Etienne.Leroy” on zip-lining, body-boarding, river-rafting and relaxing in Costa Rica. Other video categories include food, science and tech, shopping, gaming, fashion and more. Videos are automatically saved to your camera roll in their own Twicer album folder.
What’s not: Tread carefully through the “Places & Travel” category, as well as others. Videos are user-filed so some may not be appropriate and may make you wonder why they’re there. Read the video title before you click through to get a better sense of what you’ll be viewing. If you find something inappropriate, you can report it.
