Your Scene: Storming the castle in England

Share

Clifford’s Tower, perched atop a steep mound outside York, England, is most of what remains of York Castle, originally built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. Andrew Smith of Birmingham, England visited the ruins in May. As he was leaving, ominous clouds gathered overhead.

“I like the way the building stands strong against the looming clouds,” he said.

Smith used a DMC-LX5.
