Zsa Zsa Gabor slept here. So did Tony Curtis. And newlyweds Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood held their wedding reception here. That was all in the 1950s, but the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Ariz., remains true to its midcentury roots.

The building, which underwent an $80 million renovation in 2005, offers a hip downtown experience that’s different from the usual stay at a golf resort in town. Now the Valley Ho kicks off a one-day sale on Monday with rooms starting as low as $89.

The deal: Stay up late or get up early if you want to take advantage of the Annual One-Day Sale. Rooms start at $89 for Sundays through Fridays; $109 for Saturdays (prices exclude tax).

Aside from the low prices, guests who book the sale package receive two free drinks and free upgraded Internet access. For those who want a hotel-centric stay, the package also comes with $20 daily resort credit, a free dessert at the hotel’s ZuZu restaurant (with purchase of a meal) and 10% off items in the spa boutique.

When: The offer is good from just after midnight to 11:59 p.m. Pacific time Monday. It’s good for stays from May 27 through Sept. 2, based on availability.

Detials: I checked online and rooms at this hotel usually start at $139 and up, and that’s without the extras.
