Intel introduces tablet computer for healthcare

Intel Corp. unveiled a tablet computer for healthcare workers, the first product in an effort to get its microprocessors into more medical systems.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel and Austin, Texas-based Motion Computing Inc. developed the mobile clinical assistant, which is designed to help doctors and nurses update medical records as they care for patients.
