Hot Property: Sylvester Stallone puts La Quinta home into the ring

Sylvester Stallone has put his desert home in a gated La Quinta community into the ring for $4.199 million.

Set on nearly half an acre, the 2008 villa combines Spanish and Mediterranean elements. Details include interior wood shutters, wood ceilings and granite slab counters.

A great room, an entertainment center with a fireplace and wet bar, a formal dining room, a wine room, a breakfast nook, four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a powder room are included in close to 5,200 square feet of living space. Two of the bedrooms are master suites with stone fireplaces, wet bars, walk-in closets and dual vanities.

Pocket doors open to connect indoor and outdoor living spaces.

The custom-designed swimming pool area has a spa that overlooks a rock creek and a green belt. The fire pit and barbecue center take in views of the surrounding mountains.

Stallone, 69, gained fame playing boxer Rocky Balboa in the “Rocky” film series, which started in 1976 and had its seventh sequel this year titled “Creed.” He has also starred in the “Rambo” and “Expendables” films.

He bought the property six years ago for $4.5 million.

Actress Alyson Hannigan of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” fame has bought a house in Brentwood for $7.89 million.

The Traditional-style house is set on more than half an acre. The formal entry opens to a living room with crown moldings, a stacked stone fireplace and hardwood floors. An expansive formal dining room leads to a kitchen with an oversized island that flows to a great room with a dining area and fireplace.

The den, with a library and fireplace, opens to patio space.

The master suite includes a sitting area, walk-in closet and a balcony for a total of four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The 1,000-square-foot guesthouse has a living room, a library space, a combined kitchen and dining area, an office, one bedroom and two bathrooms.

A swimming pool, a spa, a gas fire pit and a conversation area complete the grounds.

In addition to “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (1997-2003), Hannigan, 41, was a regular on “How I Met Your Mother” (2005-14). She’ll star in the 2016 film “Modern Love.”

Actress and model Natalie Emilia-Romagna Martinez of the series “Kingdom” has bought a gated home in Sherman Oaks for close to $1.04 million.

The 1956 Traditional-style home features high ceilings, a living room with a fireplace, a breakfast nook and a family room with a fireplace.

The spa-like master suite has a balcony and occupies an entire level of the house, which has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The grounds include a swimming pool and lawn.

Martinez, 31, is a spokesmodel for the brand J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez. She is also on the current series “Secrets and Lies” and appeared on “Under the Dome” (2013-14), “CSI: NY” (2012-13) and “Detroit 1-8-7” (2010-11)

Actor-singer Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers fame has sold his Hollywood Hills home for $2.88 million.

The charming Traditional-style house, built in 1923, has a steep gabled roof. Some 2,900 square feet of living space include living and dining rooms, an eat-in kitchen, an office, an atrium, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room.

The backyard has a swimming pool surrounded by lawn and hedges. An outdoor dining area and a two-car garage complete the grounds.

The 26-year-old was frontman for the pop-rock band that included his brothers Nick and Kevin, then launched a solo career. He helped form the band DNCE this year and will be in the upcoming film “The Highway Is for Gamblers.”

He bought the property last year for $2.595 million, public records show.

QB calls an island audible

Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw has put his estate in Kamuela, a northern town on Hawaii’s Big Island, on the market for $2.7 million.

Built in 2005, the home features a waterfall entry, two koi ponds and a 60-foot lap pool on about 12 acres in the Summit section of Kohana Ranch. Expansive views take in the ocean, Maui and the surrounding mountains.

A great room, a dining room, an updated kitchen, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms are within about 4,600 square feet of open space.

Sliding walls of glass reveal newly landscaped grounds, a screened patio and multiple gardens. A guesthouse with a bedroom en suite and private lanai completes the setting.

Bradshaw bought the property last year for $1.85 million, records show.

The listing comes after Bradshaw’s March purchase of a smaller estate in the North Kohala area for $700,000.

Set on two acres in the town of Hawi, the property includes a four-bedroom main house and a separate guest cottage for a total of five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Nearly 2,900 square feet of space, with wood and stone floors and skylights throughout, includes an updated kitchen with a breakfast bar, formal living and dining rooms, a media room and a meditation room. A custom waterfall and aquarium feature divides the kitchen and living room.

Outdoors, landscaped grounds include a taro patch, groves of citrus and macadamia nut trees and expanses of lawn.

Bradshaw, 67, won four Super Bowl titles in 14 seasons as quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has worked as an analyst on “Fox NFL Sunday” for the last two decades.
