Hot Property: Lakers alum Elden Campbell shoots for sale in Marina del Rey

On the market in Marina del Rey is the residence of former Los Angeles Lakers forward-center Elden Campbell.

The retired basketball pro is asking $799,000 for his 1,929-square-foot condominium. Offered turnkey ready, the two-bedroom unit features raised ceilings, slate and wood flooring and granite countertops. Among its features are a gourmet kitchen, three generous master closets and two fireplaces.

Building amenities include 24-hour security service, a pool and spa, a sauna and a tennis court.

Campbell, 45, was selected by Los Angeles in the first round of the 1990 draft. He played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Seattle SuperSonics, New Jersey Nets and Detroit Pistons, the latter of which he won a championship with in 2004.

The property last sold in 1994 for $270,000, according to property records. Greta Fosse of Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
