Ashton Kutcher selling former Beverly Hills bachelor pad
For just a twitter of a moment, it appeared that actor Ashton Kutcher was selling his Beverly Hills residence after a very public Internet tirade earlier this month over the construction going on next door. Nuh-uh. The house he is selling, which is, in fact, now in escrow, is where Kutcher used to live before he married actress Demi Moore in 2005. It is also in Beverly Hills, which added to the confusion. Listing price: $3.7 million.

Real estate agent: In the Feb. 28 Home section, Hot Property’s reference to Fleur de Lys, the most expensive property in Los Angeles in the Multiple Listing Service, omitted Robert Kass as the co-lister of the property with Joyce Rey. Update: Ashton Kutcher sold his pre-Demi Moore bachelor pad for $3,670,000. The deal on the Beverly Hills-area house closed this week. It had been listed for $3.7 million.

Kutcher engaged in a rather heated, if brief, rant on the social network Twitter, claiming he had been awakened by his neighbors’ construction crew at 7 a.m. That seems to have blown over, and nobody believes Kutcher and Moore will be moving any time soon.
The home has six bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 4,860 square feet. The property has a tennis court and was renovated in 2008. It features a two-story foyer and a fireplace in the living room. The gourmet kitchen has Thermador appliances, a center island and a banquette. The home has a full bar and wine storage. The master bedroom comes with double limestone baths, double closets, a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace. There is a pool, a spa, a putting green and a three-car garage.
When he isn’t busy venting on Twitter, Kutcher, 31, has an active acting career. He played Michael Kelso in 183 episodes of “That ‘70s Show” and was the voice of Elliot in the animated movie “Open Season” in 2006. He appeared in “What Happens in Vegas” in 2008. He also was executive producer on 68 episodes of “Punk’d” from 2003 to 2007 and 47 episodes of “Beauty and the Geek” from 2005 to 2008.
Moore, 46, played Madison Lee in the movie “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” in 2003. She also starred in “The Juror” in 1996, “A Few Good Men” in 1992 and “Ghost” in 1990.

‘Queens’ writer leaving a burrow
What was it that made America fall in love with a package delivery guy and his wife, crazy father-in-law and dopey friends? Perhaps it was David Litt, from whose mind and typewriter came the sitcom “The King of Queens.”
Litt has listed his Hollywood Hills house for $2,025,000.
He took the 1963 home down to the studs, and the architectural results are pretty smashing. Los Angeles-based architect Robert Kerr created a home of wood, stone and glass. There is a formal courtyard with a fountain that leads to the house. A two-story wall of glass looks out on a forest and stream. The three-bedroom, 3 1/2 -bathroom house has 2,440 square feet.
Litt was the co-creator of “The King of Queens” and wrote 86 episodes of the comedy that aired from 1998 to 2007. He also wrote for “The Big Bang Theory” in 2007 and “Out of Practice” in 2005-06.

Hey, brother, can you spare $85 million? Mohamed Hadid, known for developing Ritz-Carlton hotels and building high-end homes with an old-world flair, has listed his own such residence in Bel-Air for sale at that dizzying price. It is not the most expensive listing in Los Angeles on the market right now, but its “wow factor” certainly runs high.

Drummer hopes to snare a buyer
Matt Sorum has joined the drumbeat of hopeful home sellers. The hard-rock percussionist and former drummer for Guns N’ Roses has listed his Hollywood Hills West-area home at $2,975,000.
Sorum, now drumstick-wielding for Velvet Revolver, hopes to sell his recently remodeled four-bedroom, three-bathroom home of 2,450 square feet. It has maple hardwood floors, three fireplaces, a gym and a customized kitchen with granite countertops and professional-grade stainless-steel appliances. There are cathedral ceilings throughout, French doors and a pool and spa.
Sorum, 48, played for Guns N’ Roses from 1990 to 1997. He left after a falling out with band frontman and co-founder Axl Rose in a dispute that reportedly lasted almost a decade. Sorum joined the Cult and formed Velvet Revolver in 2002.

Ex-major league baseball player Brady Anderson hopes to score with the sale of a Malibu property he redesigned and put on the market at $8,999,000.
Anderson, who was an outfielder with the Boston Red Sox, spent most of his professional ball career with the Baltimore Orioles and ended with the Cleveland Indians. He is selling a contemporary two-story estate.
The 3,500-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and ocean views. There are vaulted ceilings, glass sliding doors in the living room, a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a terrace off the kitchen. There is an outdoor dining area with a fire pit and a spa observation deck.
