Camilo Ontiveros on making art from the belongings of a DACA deportee

Using the belongings of DACA deportee Juan Manuel Montes, aritst Camilo Ontiveros created a sculpture for LACMA's “Home — So Different, So Appealing,” part of the Pacific Standard Time: LA / LA series of exhibitions across Southern California. Ontiveros, accompanied by his 8-month-old twins, talks about creating the sculpture "Temporary Storage," which has new significance in the wake of President Trump's decision to reverse DACA.
