We've seen a lot this summer. Our jaws dropped when we heard alleged recordings of Mel Gibson berating his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva over the phone, and we found Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi exiting "American Idol" to be completely out of tune. Of course, the summer wasn't all bad. Katy Perry lightened the mood with her "Teenage Dreams," and Christopher Nolan helped us get away with his dreamscape thriller "Inception."
