'Saturday Night Live' movies: Good, bad and ugly

When it comes to assessing the ever-growing roster of feature films inspired by the sketches and characters of Lorne Michaels' "Saturday Night Live," it's not enough to break it down into "funny" and "not funny." Yes, there are funny "SNL" movies and there are unfunny "SNL" movies, but then there are some movies the late-night comedy institution has vomited out that go beyond the bounds of normal critical thought. For them, we've instituted a new classification: ugly.
