Start warming up that damn fine coffee again. Showtime’s reboot of “Twin Peaks” is back on.

David Lynch and Showtime executives confirmed the news Friday about the project, which was thrown off the rails last month when Lynch tweeted that he would no longer be involved with the revival of the series.

Lynch tweeted: “Dear Twitter Friends, the rumors are not what they seem ..... It is !!! Happening again. #TwinPeaks returns on @SHO_Network.”

Showtime Networks President David Nevins said in a statement: “This damn fine cup of coffee from Mark [Frost] and David tastes more delicious than ever. Totally worth the extra brewing time and the cup is even bigger than we expected. David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours. Pre production starts now!!”
