Summer Camp CampaignSummer Camp Campaign

Dear Readers,

Every child deserves the friendship, challenge and just plain fun that summer camp brings.

That’s why for the past 55 years the Los Angeles Times has conducted an annual drive to provide disadvantaged children and youth with camp scholarships. This summer, with the generous help of readers like you, we hope to send 10,000 children to camp.

In 2000, the Summer Camp Campaign became a campaign of the Los Angeles Times Family Fund, a fund of the McCormick Foundation. Every penny you donate will go directly to scholarships because The Times and the Foundation absorb all administrative and fundraising costs. Plus, the Foundation will match every donation at 50 cents on the dollar.

Please donate what you can today and give children a summer to remember.
