Rachel Hilbert is in the Pink for Victoria’s Secret

Rachel Hilbert is the new face (and body) of Victoria’s Secret Pink, the cheeky label aimed at college-age women. Hilbert, 20, follows in the footsteps of former Pink models Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo and Elsa Hosk, the label announced via news release Wednesday.

J. Crew reportedly began cutting 175 full-time jobs at its New York headquarters on Wednesday and said it is dismissing women’s design director Tom Mora and replacing him with Somsack Sikhounmuong, head of design for sister label Madewell. Sikhounmuoung worked for J. Crew before joining Madewell in 2013, and he had previous stints at Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. [USA Today]

Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad won this year’s Vans Custom Culture shoe design contest, along with $50,000 for the school’s arts program. The school also won an additional $10,000 from the Truth campaign for working an anti-smoking message into one design and $15,000 from retailer Journeys for being the entrant that best represented local flavor.
