2001 Sori’ Paitin Barbaresco

Share

A beautiful Barbaresco from Azienda Agricola Paitin, an estate whose history dates back to the 18th century. 2001 was an exceptionally fine vintage in Piedmont, making this Sori’ Paitin a tremendous bargain for a Barbaresco of this quality. It has that haunting aroma of cherries and violets, a typical silkiness and more dark cherries with a touch of smoke and anise in the mouth. Delicious now, it can only get better if you give it time to grow into itself.
