The Broadway Hollywood: 3 lofts, 3 looks
Former Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro describes his style as boutique hotel meets bordello. Actress Ivana Milicevic wants her place to be glam-girl sexy. Interior designer Jennifer Culp aims for pretty but pragmatic. Virtually idential spaces, three different expressions of style. Let the decorating begin.

Welcome to The Building, a new feature showing how neighbors manage to craft very different looks from the same architectural template. This week we go inside the Broadway Hollywood, a 1927 department store building reborn as 96 loft-style homes. Our tour will include former Janes Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro and interior designer Jennifer Culp, but first up: actress Ivana Milicevic, the villainess Valenka in the last James Bond flick, Casino Royale. Shes pictured here with Kelly Cole, who devised several design solutions in her loft, including a way to camouflage this giant concrete pillar. Wrapped in snakeskin-embossed leather and laced-up like a corset, what had been an eyesore is now the lofts centerpiece.
