Angelica Quintero
Angelica Quintero is a former Metpro trainee and multimedia journalist for the Los Angeles Times. Prior to joining The Times, she wrote for University of Miami publications such as the Communique, the Miami Planet and Distraction Magazine. At the same time, she worked for the U.S. Department of State’s multi-platform newscast, Marti Noticias, as a communications intern, and as a design intern for a consulting company. Quintero has also worked for National Geographic Magazine and Diario Las Americas (the oldest Spanish newspaper in Miami) in their graphics department. She was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, (even though now she says she is from “Santiago de Cali-fornia”).
