Ivette Soler's 'Edible Front Yard'
Ivette Soler spent more than a decade as an associate with Elysian Landscapes, the firm run by noted L.A. designer Judy Kameon. Soler left in early 2010 to write the blog and to launch her own landscape design practice, both called the Germinatrix. She lives in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of L.A., devising eclectic combinations of edibles and ornamentals.
