Reader Photo: Framed

Share

Last September, photographer Andres Tardio was at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. There, he saw an exhibit that consisted simply of a white wall with two black frames symmetrically in the center.

The name of the piece escapes him, but he remembers what he wanted to as soon as he saw it. “I knew if I could get a person right in the center of the frame, it would work well,” he said. “I waited for the right moment.”

Tardio shot the image with his Sony a330.
