Cartoonists deal in broad-brush generalizations and oversimplified caricatures. We leave the nuances of complex issues to politicians, and boy, what they’re saying is alarming.

Apparently uncontrolled hordes of “aliens” are “harvesting” our food, tidying up our homes’ “landscaping,” “watching” our kids, even stooping to “rebuild” the Gulf Coast. Pretty much “threatening” our entire way of life for decades to come -- or at least until the November elections.

Steve Greenberg went negative, providing the visual back story. Ed Stein employed a switcheroo, which works for me. And Jeff Darcy cleverly skirted the issue, even as he issued W a skirt.

It’s no coincidence that the most somber reminder that this is a life-and-death matter came from south of the border. No telling what wages Obi is willing to draw for.... Better keep him out!
