USC recruiting: Huntington Beach defensive lineman Liam Jimmons commits

USC began the weekend without a defensive lineman committed in its 2016 recruiting class.

Now there are two.

Liam Jimmons, from Huntington Beach High, announced his commitment on Sunday during an unofficial visit to campus.

“Committed to the University of Southern California #fighton. Feels like a dream,” Jimmons wrote on Twitter.

La Mirada’s Keanu Saleapaga committed Saturday.

Jimmons, 6 feet 4 and 240 pounds, and Saleapaga, 6 feet 6 and 265 pounds, received offers after participating in the offensive and defensive line camp on Saturday.
