A mantle of blooms in Tokyo

Royal red flowed around Tokyo’s Imperial Palace a few months ago when Thousand Oaks reader Hal Vick got this shot of a father, his head barely visible on the left, photographing his daughter in the Eastern Imperial Garden. Vick said it was a veritable family fashion shoot, with the girl and her younger sister posing, changing outfits, then posing some more.
