The alleged Twitter world of a drug cartel family
Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman's escape through a tunnel below a maximum-security prison brought attention almost immediately to some Twitter accounts bearing the names of Guzman's children. A Twitter account purporting to be that of Ivan Archivaldo Guzman, one of Guzman's sons, made two ominous tweets before the jail break: "... the general will soon return" and "Everything comes for those who know how to wait."
The Washington Post went with "Inside the flamboyant, violent lives of El Chapo's sons." Buzzfeed wrote "These are the Twitter accounts of the sons of Mexico's drug cartel leaders." It's important to note that no one has been able to confirm that these profiles are real. Some names appear in more than one account. They could be fakes.
