Hundreds of Latino workers march outside of the detention center in downtown for May Day

On Thursday afternoon, approximately 200 individuals march from Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights to the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles, calling for the protection of workers’ rights and the well-being of local communities.
