‘Project Runway’ -- whom do we hate?

Last night’s ‘Project Runway’ was yet another excuse for me to scream ‘Hate!’ at the TV a number of times. Try it. So fun and therapeutic. BUT I did dig the denim overalls that Jillian designed for the runway. Love! Her team deserved to win the challenge, don’t you think?

Other observations:

Victorya is that annoying girl from high school who designed her own tote bag and raised her hand when the teacher forgot to collect the homework. (She probably even changed the spelling of her name to make it more unique and memorable -- grrr.) Her carefully concealed aggression, like a fist in a cloud of tulle, shocked me and now I can’t stand her. She’s snitty and bossy. She will surely be there until the end because she stirs up emotions and alliances. Hate.

Ricky, on the other, proved himself to be a man last night by not crying once. Love. I was so proud of him for merely shaking his head when Victorya attacked, instead of blubbering. But that crazy hat he insists on wearing drives me mental. Hate. He looks like the guy working at the smoothie stand at a Crunch gym in West Hollywood. I bet Michael Kors would love to slap that silly chapeau off his head and stomp on it.

Did anyone else hear Christian yell, ‘Love ya. Bye!’ to Tim Gunn after he previewed their collection? I half-expected Tim to come back and say, ‘Inappropriate,’ in his lock-jaw squelch. ‘Make it stop.’ FYI: Christian is from Annapolis, Md. How fun would it be to follow that snippet of snark around for a week in his hometown and watch reactions?

Who do you think will be next to go? My prediction is Steven because he is about as exciting as a pile of toenail clippings and his designs are pretty mediocre.

Next week, I will be live blogging ‘Project Runway,’ so please tune in with me and post comments, as it airs.
