Design talent: Los Angeles’ Gregory Parkinson is headed to Paris with the Fashion Fund

Los Angeles fashion designer Gregory Parkinson has been getting a lot of attention lately.

His designs have always had a sophisticated appeal, stocked by retailer Linda Dresner and worn by First Lady Michelle Obama, among others.

Last year he was a finalist for the Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund Award. And just last week, he was confirmed as one of 10 former finalists who will participate in a group show in Paris in the fall.
