Two hats the Duchess of Cambridge wore before her marriage to Britain’s Prince William were sold at auction for fairly substantial bucks: The one shown here, which she wore to a wedding in October 2010, went for the equivalent of $5,080 and the other one for $5,030. Interestingly, both were rented — it never occurred to me that one could rent a hat. [Telegraph]
