Oscar nominations: Colin Firth, Jeff Bridges among lead actor contenders

Colin Firth topped the list of lead actor Oscar nominees announced this morning for his portrayal of King George VI in ‘The King’s Speech.’ Competing against him in the category will be Jesse Eisenberg for ‘The Social Network,’ Jeff Bridges for ‘True Grit,’ James Franco for ‘127 Hours’ and Javier Bardem for ‘Biutiful.’
