It’s Christmas Eve!

With an estimated 43.6 million Americans flying over the Christmas holidays, chances are good that sometime in the next two weeks, you’ll end up in an airport. The latest Flash Mob from T-Mobile is this heartstring-tugger filmed at Heathrow Airport in London -- obviously before Britain’s hub was jammed with unhappy travelers stranded during the recent European storms.

For Culture Monster, this mob is all a bit slick until around 2:22 when we see the first bit of genuine human connection. Then, just as our defenses are starting to lower, out of nowhere -- WHAM! -- comes an emotional sucker punch. To be honest, things are getting a little misty around here.

The advertisers win this round, but that’s OK. They pulled it off. Plus, it’s Christmas!

Welcome Back Fun Fact: The man who sings ‘I Am a Passenger’ has a cabaret act under the name Le Gateau Chocolat. Treasures of untold richness await the person brave enough to pop that name into YouTube.

Stay tuned on Christmas Day for a recap of each of our Twelve Days of Christmas Flash Mobs as well as one more video.
