Neil LaBute and Theresa Rebeck will be writing a play live on Tuesday, starting at 1 p.m., using characters and a scenario selected by Culture Monster readers.

Readers can watch as the playwrights take turns writing character dialogue and stage directions -- creating a full play in real time right before your eyes. After LaBute and Rebeck have finished, they’ll stick around for your questions about writing that play in front of an audience, their past and present projects and anything else you’d care to discuss.

There’s still time to help pick a plot. Take a look at the options and cast your vote. The playwrights won’t know which one they’ll be tackling until Tuesday, just before they start. Afterward, we’ll let Culture Monster readers come up with a title for the finished product.
