Guess who’s coming for dinner? Chef Thomas Keller.

The city of Beverly Hills gave final approval Tuesday night on a deal that will bring a local restaurant from the only American chef with two Michelin three-star establishments. (His Napa Valley restaurant the French Laundry is a mecca for all self-respecting foodies.) Keller will be opening a Bouchon bistro in Beverly Hills by fall 2009 if all goes according to schedule. And that means Southern California food lovers wanting a taste of the chef’s food will no longer have to travel to Las Vegas, New York or Northern California.
