This Saturday ForYourArt is hosting New. Artisanal. Now., a pop-up shop of locally produced food. It’s timed to coincide with Made in LA 2012, the Hammer Museum’s first large-scale event showcasing local artists.

Attendees will be able to purchase treats such as bacon-and-date spread from De Vamore, ice cream from Peddler’s Creamery, salted caramel and chocolate sauce from Z Confections, fruit presses and preserves from Grace & I and loads more. The selections were chosen by Krista Simmons of “Top Chef Masters” and LAist, Shawna Dawson of Artisanal LA and Michaele Musel of the Secret Fork.

Founded by Bettina Korek in 2006, ForYourArt has been described as an art website, event producer and museum guide publisher. It debuted its Wilshire public space in March 2012.

Noon to 6 p.m. at ForYourArt, 6020 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. Admission is free while goods can be purchased at various prices.
