Vicente Padilla could start throwing within a month

Optimistic about the way Vicente Padilla came out of surgery on Thursday, the Dodgers medical staff estimated that the long reliever could start throwing in three to four weeks.

‘Sounds like it went well,’ Manager Don Mattingly said.

Padilla will return to Arizona on Friday.
