Marvel Studios and it’s live-action feature-film version of ‘The Avengers’ won’t hit theaters until 2012, but this fall, the venerable comic-book franchise will get a different sort of treatment with a new animated series, ‘The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ under the Disney XD banner.
