The Deal: At Brocade Home, a little romance on sale

Perusing Brocade Home online makes you think that perhaps you need a little more luxury at home, especially at these prices. The catalog company’s summer sale includes a king-size Parisian blue lace print duvet (originally $149, now $49), crystal chandelier (originally $599, now $499) and tufted velvet bolsters (originally $39, now $19) -- making such romantic fare seem not so, well, frivolous, given the times. And, really, who doesn’t need metallic flocked medallion wallpaper in the bathroom? Each roll, which can cover 44 square feet, has been discounted from $149 to $99. Not sure about the bathtub, though.
