Dwell on Design 2011: Staff picks for new and notable

Dwell on Design 2011 closed Sunday with a final attendance count of 20,984, which a spokeswoman said was slightly higher than 2010’s crowd. Though the annual exhibition at the Los Angeles Convention Center felt a little light on standout furniture, the Home staff did find some newly released home and garden products that were worth sharing.
If you missed our coverage earlier in the week, here’s a quick peek at some of our picks. We focused on newly released products, such as the birdhouse above and portable fireplace below, as well as new additions to long-popular collections, such as the Pebble stools, shown poolside below, now available in fiberglass.
