While the rest of Los Angeles obsesses over ‘Carmageddon,’ we present a selection of home and garden sales, all online or at least east of the 405:
Alessi: The modern Italian housewares company is taking 20% off the Cactus, Mediterraneo, Michael Graves and Luis Clotet collections. A reminder of sales we’ve blogged previously: Kartell is discounting its contemporary plastic furniture by 15% during a storewide sale running through Saturday. IKEA is once again offering up to 20% off kitchens through Aug. 21. Spend at least $2,500 and you get 10% off. If your order includes two appliances, each $199 or higher, the savings on the total order rises to 15%. If the order includes three appliances -- say, a range, range hood and microwave oven -- the savings rise to 20%.
Room & Board’s summer clearance sale includes discounts on furniture, bedding, children’s decor and accessories.
