Murder suspect arrested in San Diego after school lockdown

A manhunt that led to the lockdown of five schools in San Diego ended early Tuesday evening with the arrest of a 22-year-old man suspected of a murder in Corona.

Matthew Rowley, a suspect in the Jan. 16 murder of a 20-year-old man in Corona, was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. in the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego. After Rowley was spotted in a neighborhood park, the schools were locked down for several hours until late afternoon as police conducted a door-to-door search.
