A man crashed his car into a 7-Eleven store, then helped himself to a cup of coffee, investigators near Sacramento said Thursday.

Woodland police were called to the 7-Eleven on East Main Street around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday after Dennis Cortopassi, 56, intentionally crashed his vehicle into the store’s window, authorities said.

Cortopassi then got out of the vehicle and poured himself a cup of coffee, a store clerk said, according to Fox40 in Sacramento.

When the clerk called police, Cortopassi knocked over items on shelves and threw his coffee, the TV station reported. When police arrived, Cortopassi was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail.

The clerk said Cortopassi frequents the 7-Eleven and had never caused any problems before.

Woodland is about 15 miles northwest of Sacramento.
