Immigrant says she was sexually assaulted by smugglers

One of the 60 immigrants found at a South L.A. drop house earlier this week told authorities she had been impregnated by her attacker, reports Anna Gorman, underlying the vulnerability of illegal immigrants, especially women.

Agents are seeking evidence that could connect the drop house to a human-smuggling ring busted in February.
