If you recall, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi recently tied the knot (and made the cover of People, of course). What’s next for the newlyweds? Kids? Well, who knows, but it sounds as if they will add some pets to their family. DogChannel.com reports:
Ellen DeGeneres, who wed longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi over the weekend of August 16, is coy on the subject of having kids, but will allow that more animals are in the cards for the dog-loving pair, who sparked a media frenzy last year when they found a new home for a dog they had rescued, in violation of an adoption agreement. “We want a big farm and to just take care of every kind of animal that needs taking care of,” DeGeneres told People. A rescued goldfish even played an unlikely role in the duo’s engagement when de Rossi took the fish home from a TV shoot. “We were watching the fish and Ellen said, ‘This is a pretty romantic moment, right?’” de Rossi remembers. “And I said, ‘Every moment with you is romantic.’ And then she gave me the ring.”
