Gary Coleman -- the child star turned, well, turned grown-up Gary Coleman -- is doing fine today after being rushed to a hospital around 8 a.m. after an apparent seizure.

He’ll undergo dialysis and stay in the L.A. hospital overnight, his agent told the Associated Press.

Coleman’s agent, Robert Malcolm, says the 41-year-old actor, who has had two failed kidney transplants, began feeling foggy and vomited early today while resting at a hotel.

He seemed fine shortly after arriving at the hospital, Malcolm said, and a CT scan showed no problems.

The actor was in town for meetings related to his latest film, the definitely not PC ‘Midgets vs. Mascots,’ which premiered in April and was released on DVD in November.

Regarding the film, which on its unlinkable website is billed as a ‘Borat-meets-Jackass shockumentary’ ...

... in it, ‘Five little people and five mascots battle for one million dollars through 30 ridiculous competitions, including how many insults it takes to get punched in a bar, who can drink a gallon of milk the fastest and who can wrestle a live alligator.’

Well, OK then.

Malcolm says his client was in town to meet with producers about removing an allegedly unauthorized brief scene of frontal nudity from the film. ‘He was very upset to cancel this meeting ... because there’s a shot of a penis in the film,’ the agent told E! ‘Supposedly it’s his, and he’s not happy with it.’

That meeting was rescheduled for Thursday.

We know it’s not nice to kick a guy when he’s down, and we do wish Gary a quick and complete recovery, but -- suddenly those two free boxes of Midget Condoms with purchase of the DVD are making a bit more sense.

For the record, Gary himself doesn’t much like the movie; shortly before it premiered he said the demeaning role had put a strain on his marriage -- which in July took a turn for the worse.
