So much recovery, so little time.
With Charlie Sheen in rehab -- or is it prehab? -- Brooke Mueller has packed up and moved from a private rehab facility and back into her own gated community off Mulholland Drive. But this time, she brought the rehab team with her, TMZ reports, so treatment could continue at her home.
All this right just days after leaving the Canyon in Malibu, which she allegedly did after private details of her admission were leaked to the media. And not a month after enjoying her visit at a ‘wellness center’ following her bout with a tooth infection and pneumonia.
Too bad you can’t buy this sort of thing in bulk. Like, at Costco.
Meanwhile, Steven Tyler has his old job back after a 90-day rehab program that he started in late December.
The Aerosmith lead singer went into treatment for an addiction to painkillers, but then there was confusion about whether he was still rehabbing after reports surfaced of impromptu performances at a Home Depot in Rancho Mirage and a karaoke night in Palm Desert.
Turns out he just had the OK to leave the premises to, you know, do some shopping.
But on a sadder note, there’s the tale of Zhora the chimp ...
The former circus performer who’s been living in a zoo in the Russian city of Rostov has been sent to rehab to get free of the twin demons of alcohol and nicotine, Reuters reports.
‘The beer and cigarettes were ruining him. He would pester passers-by for booze,’ the Komsomolskaya Pravda paper said. Workers blamed the visitors for the chimp’s sorry state, saying that although some people might think it’s funny to watch an animal drink and smoke, they are forgetting about the damage to the animal’s health.
The entertainment industry, man. It’ll eat you alive.
