After 13 days behind bars, Lindsay Lohan has been released from jail, L.A. Now reports.
Lohan hit the road at 1:35 a.m. and was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center to start the 90-day rehab stint included in her sentence.
‘She was noticeably moved by the amount of mail and books sent to her,’ sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Monday. ‘She thanked everybody as she left.’
The sentence of 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab was handed down after Lohan violated probation on a 2007 conviction for DUI and other counts.
If you do the jailhouse math, serving 13 days out of 90 is more time than we’ve come to expect from a celebrity sentence.
