The team at Esquire spends a lot of time considering sexy women, but they want to make it clear -- Minka Kelly takes the cake, despite a couple of the mag’s additional surveys on who might be the hottest thing to don lingerie.

Though 2010 saw nods to buxom ‘Mad Men’ actress Christina Hendricks in the mag’s May issue on women, and victory for model Brooklyn Decker in a five-round reader-chosen ranking, Kelly makes Esquire’s official cut for sexiest woman alive -- like, ever-- for 2010.

‘I’m confident — confident in my skin, and I’m cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself. I think my 30th birthday gave me permission to have all that. The 20s were a pain ... figuring it all out,’ Kelly said.

Kelly stars in ‘Friday Night Lights,’ bowing out this year with its final season, and has appeared on NBC’s ‘Parenthood.’ She’s also the real-life leading lady to New York Yankee Derek Jeter.

Do you think Kelly is deserving of the honor? Tell us why or why not in the comments section below.
