I don’t know about you, but often I find myself asking the question, ‘What kind of house will $125 millon buy in this market?’ Oddly, it’s hard to find an answer. But Curbed LA has found the house, located right in the middle of that hard-to-find $120 million-to-$130 million price range.
For the record, it’s Suzanne Saperstein’s 45,000-square-foot estate in Holmby Hills, known as Fleur de Lys. (First obvious question: Who is Suzanne Saperstein? Answer: recently divorced wife of Texas millionaire David Saperstein. OK, second obvious question: Who is David Saperstein? Answer: A former car dealer who made a ton of money in network radio, amassing a big stake in Westwood One, the network that until last week syndicated Don Imus).
But we digress. The house is ginormous. Does it really matter how many bathrooms are in it?
