We like lists and statistics, so we like this item from the Inman.com blog: Highest foreclosure rates among U.S. metro areas in May, according to RealtyTrac... (drum roll, etc.) ...

And the loser is... Stockton, Calif., with a rate 7.5 times the national average.

From Inman.com: ‘Six of the top 10 metro areas with high foreclosure rates are in California, RealtyTrac reports, including all of the top three (which are within 70 miles of each other in California’s Central Valley). Foreclosure activity was up 350% in California in May.’
